Day 1: Coffee With English For TET

Hi Friends,
This is our first day hence we start with the blessings of the Almighty.

1.SYLLABIFICATION:(a,e,i,o,u)

Definition: Each vowel SOUND makes a syllable. That's all. but here you have to count the sound only not the vowel letter.

For example: Tree- 1 syllable word.
Because while pronounce the word TREE , we can hear only one 'e' sound. The 'e' is a vowel sound so its called 1 syllable word,
But if you count the vowel letter in the word TREE , you will get 2 for answer but it is wrong according to our definition. so be aware of it.

Some Examples:(spell slowly)

1.Street             - 1 syllable
2. I                    - 1 syllable
3.about              -2 syllable (count the sound not the letter)
4.properly         -3 syllable
5.Astronomy     -4 syllable
6.Examination   -5 syllable ( tion-1 syllable)

It's for you: ( Comments the answer)

1.inside-
2.people-
3.prisoners-
4.entertainment-
5.guitarist-

                (MEET IN OUR NEXT SESSION)
                                                                                      Regards with Ramji.
